This ninth in the series of ISTC Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) Seminars will continue the tradition of the previous successfully performed events focused on challenging areas of S&T, which have been performed in Moscow, St. Petersburg and many other cities of the Russian Federation.

The previous 8^th SAC Seminar, titled "Bio-Fuels in Clean Power Production & Transport", was held in Moscow in November 2005.
